With Young Life flourishing in Western Pennsylvania and Indiana in the early 1960s, a small group of pioneers came together and looked at a map of Ohio. With no current ministry happening, they planned and set out to establish new ministry in Cincinnati, Columbus, Canton, and Cleveland. It was in 1967 that Young Life was established in the North Coast Region.
Today, we have 90 total ministries in the North Coast Region spanning across 23 local areas (Northern OH and SE Michigan). This includes Young Life, WyldLife, Young Life College, Capernaum (Kids with Disabilities), YoungLives (Teen Moms).
This team is committed to following the Lord's leading and spending their days trying to "earn the right to be heard"- all for the opportunity to share our faith with kids and help them grow.
The heart of Young Life is to see every kid come to an understanding of their God-given identity and purpose in life. Our mission is to build relationships with young people by going into their world and investing in their lives with the hope of seeing this potential unlocked.
Volunteer your time to work directly with young people.
Support the staff and leaders as part of the local adult committee.
